UB42 are a UB40 tribute band based in Birmingham
UB42 formed in 2009 to re-create the look and sounds of the biggest
reggae act in the world today UB40 .
UB42 are a fully live seven peice band based in Birmingham , the home of the UK reggae scene .
Between them , members of the band have had top ten chart hits and have toured the world with various band including The Selector and The Specials ,The Beat ,Gwen Stifani and Cindy Lauper
UB42 are quickly gained the reputation of been one of the top tribute acts in the country .
The band is also attracting the attention of other top bands and have had a few special guests appearing along with the band from the likes of Steel pulse, The Specials and The Selector ,and of course UB40 themselves .(see the photo and friends pages ) .

The band were chosen by ub40 fans to play both the 2010 ,2011and 2012 official UB40 fanfests.
