UB42 are a UB40 tribute band based in Birmingham
UB42 formed to re-create the look and sounds of the biggest
reggae act in the world today UB40 .
UB42 are a fully live eight peice band based in Birmingham , the home of the UK reggae scene .
Between them , members of the band have had top ten chart hits and have toured the world with various band including The Selector and The Specials AKA .
UB42 are quickly gaining the reputation of been one of the top tribute acts in the country .
The band is also attracting the attention of other top bands and have had a few special guests appearing along with the band from the likes of Steel pulse and The Selector ,and of course UB40 themselves .(see the photo and friends pages ) .

The Allska's have just released a charity single 'In our Coventry home ' , it is available through this website and in many good record shops .
The band were lucky enough to have to single playing to 8000 fans at The Specials home coming gig in Coventry just before they came on stage .
UB42 also topped the bill with many great acts at this years Caribbean festival in Coventry infront of 10,000 people .
The band also played to a massive 9500 people at the Rugby FM bonfire party which beat the previous years crowd by 3000 !!
