Dave Linton

Dave Linton born in 1965, in Coventry studied classical piano playing from a young age and then during teen age years ventured into digital keyboards and synthesizers and joined close friends Russell Ward, Tony Ally and Sean McAllister to form the ska band – Primative System playing at Coventry venues such as the Lanchester Polytechnic, Hope and Anchor, Spencer Park, The Jules Verne and other local venues. Dave has since played in a number of local bands over the years and worked with many musicians, singers and musically orientated environments as well as lecturing music at Coventry schools and community colledges.

Bands that Dave has worked with Include: Primative System, Charley Anderson & Friends, Musicbody, Glasshouse, Loose Covers, Sign a de Times, Destiny, Various solo artist projects.

Dave has worked with a number of high calibre musicians many of who have featured with highly established and successful bands/musicians past and present such as Miles Davis, Joe Sample, Steel Pulse, The Specials, The Selecter and UB40.
